Digital screen advertising is becoming interactive. With the launch of the first standardized gaming solution for screen advertising in Austria, advertising on public screens can become playable and directly controllable via smartphone.

billboard.games is used as the technological foundation. Our platform enables screen-to-mobile interaction, where passers-by join via QR code and control the screen directly in the browser. The smartphone becomes the controller, the screen becomes the playing field. No app, no additional hardware.

For us, this is another step toward active screens. We are developing billboard.games precisely for scenarios like this: screens should not only display content, but invite interaction and enable real participation.

As first mover, BOSCH implemented a first custom game based on the Standard Games. Passers-by had to drill screws into the right position, collect points in real time and take part in a giveaway. The example shows how standardized games can be flexibly adapted to brands and campaigns.

The solution is designed as a standardized format and can be integrated flexibly into campaigns. Initial implementations show that playful interaction increases attention and significantly extends dwell time at the screen.
